The Tulane Black MBA is an organization whose purpose is to create educational and professional opportunities for African-American Graduate and Undergraduate Business students at Tulane University. In September, our members attended The [...]

I considered my options within the United States, and in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, but I was concerned that those options would leave me too focused on just a single country. Then I stumbled upon what seemed to be the perfect compromise to satiate both my wanderlust [...]

What do you think all entrepreneurs should know before starting their endeavors? Being an entrepreneur is not glamorous – it’s tough and challenging. But it is also fulfilling and fun if you have the dedication and drive to be successful. 2. How did you get started? My family business is in real estate, so I always had some exposure to the industry. While attending the Tulane MBA [...]

In the middle of October, Professor Deen Kemsley led a discussion with Freeman students on the longer term outlook of the world economy, and the consensus was that if the global crisis were to occur, it would be a category 3 economic hurricane.
